Furnace Brazing
Furnace brazing is the process of pre-heating the entire part to the proper temperature, doing all the brazing while the part is at the desired temperature then post heating the entire part until everything is the same temperature and finally turning off the heat and allowing everything to cool down slowly. This produces a product that is basically stress free. One of the benefits to Furnace Brazing is the ability to add steel reinforcements to cast iron to make it stronger than original.
